Guitar, Bass, Ukulele Lessons
I offer lessons in guitar, bass, ukelele, music theory and performance at my full-service audio production studio, Maritime Music Studio in Peabody, MA. I also offer remote lessons via Zoom.
I teach all levels, including early childhood music appreciation. Some of my students are beginners who want to learn the basics to enjoy making music with their friends and family, while others are seasoned professionals looking for a new artistic direction.
I specialize in music school prep, and have helped many students successfully audition for Berklee College of Music, my alma mater, and other prestigious music programs.
Learning an instrument is a challenging and rewarding experience. In my lessons we focus on material that keeps students interested and excited about their progress. I believe in adapting and responding to each student's preferences and goals. We’ll look at music theory, jazz repertoire, and etudes for the classically trained student; or tablature and videos to help those who are self-taught or prefer to learn by ear.

I spent years improving my guitar skills, mixing self-exploration with guidance from great mentors. While learning from composers like Robert Bradshaw and Anthony Weller during my younger years, I was determined to find my musical path.
In the end, I discovered that musical growth comes from a mix of self-discovery and guidance from skilled teachers. I learned from exceptional instructors at places like the New England Conservatory and Berklee College of Music.
The right teacher at the right time can change your life. Understanding what to focus on and getting insights into your progress or setbacks is a rewarding part of musical education.
I'm thankful for my approach to learning and teaching, as it allows me to share my knowledge with students. I aim to help musicians reach their peak performance, saving them years of trial and error on their journey to achieving their musical dreams.

Alternative times and weekend lessons may be arranged.
Group Guitar Class on Monday Nights from 6:30-7:30
$20, free for all current private lesson students
Private Lessons in Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Music Theory
$50 / half-hour, $100 / hour at Maritime or via Zoom
